In brief
A Historic landmark. The Aston Cross Clock Tower was made in 1891 of iron, and has four clock faces. It was near the Ansells Brewery (on site from 1881 to 1981) and the HP Sauce factory (late 19th century until 2007). The site today is East End Foods.

Aston Cross - history
The medieval Aston Cross was at the junction of Lichfield Road, Park Lane and Rocky Lane, but by the 19th century it had decayed to a stump and it's remains transferred to an Aston churchyard in 1854.
It was replaced in 1891 with the present Aston Cross clock.

The clock has been Grade II listed since 1982.
It appears that the clock was at one point moved to the Park Road and Lichfield Road junction, but is now back on the Aston Cross roundabout.
