Aston University is at Aston Triangle, Birmingham, B4 7ET. The Main Building is located between Aston Street and Corporation Street.
In brief
A University since 1966, the campus has been located here at Aston Triangle ever since. They celebrated 50 years in 2016, and was University of the Year in 2020.

Aston University - history
It began as the College of Advanced Technology, with buildings of 1949-55 by Ashley & Newman and 1957-65 by the City Architect, A.G. Sheppard Fidler.
It became a university in 1966.
A development plan by Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall & Partners was adopted in 1967.
Student accommodation built in the 1960s or '70s was replaced in the 2010s.
The University celebrated it's 50th birthday in 2016.
The Guardian awarded Aston University as University of the Year 2020.
